Moving cattle

We were lucky and got to help move cattle in the mountains yesterday.  Who needs P90X??!!

We started the day by trying to get the cattle out of the shade (i.e. thick brush).  The only way to do that is on foot.  Thankfully the heat of the day hadn’t arrived yet.  After getting as many as we could, we pushed them up the hill to a higher pasture.

In the evening, Oma, Opa, all siblings and all grandchildren were together for an anniversary/birthday celebration.

If Henry hadn’t started puking, the day would have been a smashing success.

Thanks for the pictures, now I’m homesick. I finally get to see how Trell has grown since April. Wish we were there!

Trell is soooooooooo cute (as they all are)! We wish you were here, too. Ali was recalling riding up there with you last year. It was a good day 🙂
